DMZ - Demilitarized Zone
韓国は現在世界で唯一の分断国家。1950年6月25日に勃発した6・25戦争（韓国戦争）で締結された停戦協定で南韓と北韓は休戦線によって南と北に分けられました。そしてその休戦線の南北2キロがDMZ（demilitarized
zone/非武装地帯）となったのです。
現在このDMZ地帯は冷戦時代最後の遺物として大きな関心を集めており、緊張と平和が共存するDMZ関連観光地などは分断国家の現実を肌で感じようという外国人観光客が数多く参加しています。

Dora Observatory
Dora observatory was built by the ministry of National Defense on September 8, 1986. The third underground tunnel was found one June 10, 1973. It is 1635m long and located in Dorasanri, Gunnae-myon, Paju.
